Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
Part-time: 10 hours per week, flexible schedule

In this position, you will:
Provide case management, substance abuse counseling, and advocacy services
Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team to facilitate the client recovery and rehabilitation processes
Develops educational topics and facilitates group counseling
Maintain case records, updates treatment plans, writes progress notes and psychosocial histories
We require:
Must be certified by NYS OASAS as a CASAC
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in a related field
At least 1 year of experience working with chemical dependency and/or mental health experience required including group experience
Maintains yearly educational requirements for timely renewal of OASAS credential
Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written
