This position provides support to the Human Resources department by working on a variety of HR projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Humans Resources.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned

:

Assist with recruiting activities for manufacturing and office positions including pre-screening candidates, scheduling, and conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug screening, etc.

Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed.

Assist in company training, such as New Employee Orientation, Harassment Prevention, Ethics, and other Human Resources related training.

Assist with maintenance of confidential employee & applicant information utilizing various HRIS systems.

Assist with various employee events including organizing, preparing, and participating in Employee Roundtables, Service Award Luncheons, etc.

Perform research and assistance for various Human Resources and Benefits related projects as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field for entire duration of internship.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) throughout the summer.

GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced, team environment.

Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to prioritize while working on numerous projects and tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The following represents general working conditions for this

office-based

role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.

This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.

Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.

Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings.

Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
