Business Development Representative (BDR)
Location:
Primarily Remote (Maryland preferred; occasional office time in Baltimore, MD) About Impruvon Health
Impruvon Health is a fast-growing health tech company on a mission to make medication management safer and more reliable in residential care settings for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our platform helps prevent medication errors, supports staff, and empowers residents to live more independently. What You'll Do
As a BDR, you'll play a key role in driving Impruvon Health's growth. Your main job is to
find and connect with potential customers , start conversations, and
set up meetings for the sales team
to close deals. Think of yourself as the first point of contact - you'll be creating the pipeline that fuels the company's expansion.
Your core responsibilities will include: Reaching out to prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn Qualifying leads to see if they're a good fit and scheduling meetings for sales reps Keeping detailed, accurate records of your outreach in HubSpot (CRM) Using tools like Excel and Slack to stay organized and communicate progress Working closely with the sales team to fine-tune messaging and strategy Staying informed about our platform and industry trends to speak confidently to prospects Occasionally traveling to industry conferences or client sites Who We're Looking For
We want someone who is: Outgoing and confident on the phone (comfortable making lots of calls) Organized, self-motivated, and proactive about hitting goals A clear and effective communicator (written and verbal) Familiar with CRMs (like HubSpot) and productivity tools (Excel, Slack) Ideally has some prior experience as a BDR/SDR or in outbound outreach Work Setup & Growth Path This is a
remote-first position
(Maryland preferred) with occasional in-person meetings in Baltimore You'll start with a
3-month trial period
focused on training, performance, and learning the ropes High-performing BDRs will be offered
full-time permanent positions Salary range:
