Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a fast-paced outpatient setting with CPR certification and comfort treating a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities Work in an outpatient physical therapy clinic Private treatment rooms provided for all patients Patient caseload of 14-16 per 8-hour day or 16-20 per 10-hour day Patient types include post-op, non-surgical, Tricare military, vestibular rehab, and pelvic floor rehab Experience with pelvic floor therapy is a plus Flexible schedule options include 5x8s Mon-Fri or 4x10s Tues-Fri Day shifts available, typical hours 7:00-15:30 or 8:00-16:30 Uses Office Ally for documentation Role welcomes new graduates, therapists new to outpatient, and experienced therapists Locals are accepted at the travel rate Two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years are required for consideration Full 7-year work history with gaps explained is necessary All PTO and scheduling requests must be provided upon application
Requirements Current or pending CA PT license required; license required if applicable CPR certification required Preferred 1 year of outpatient experience, but new grads and those with experience in other settings will be considered Must be comfortable working in a high-paced outpatient environment
