Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU), 10-bed unit Shifts:

12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours per Week:

Travel nursing job ICU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - New Hampshire or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification - required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification - required Strong clinical skills in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and administration of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications Experience with line insertion, maintenance, and management of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical neuro patients (ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVD, PA lines) ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in the NCCU Monitor and manage patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, neurosurgical procedures (tumor resections, brain/spine abscesses), and complex neuro-medical conditions (meningitis, encephalitis, neuromuscular disorders) Utilize and interpret advanced monitoring equipment, including PA line waveforms Administer and titrate critical care medications, including pressors and inotropes Assist with emergent procedures and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards at all times
