Position Overview
The Estimator writes estimates to be submitted to insurance adjusters, TPAs, and customers for approval. Additionally, the Estimator gets contracts signed and effectively communicates with customers, adjusters, and fellow team members. This is a critical role as it contributes to the growth of the organization.
Requirements
Note: This is not an entry-level position so training for essential skills will not be provided. The ideal applicant should possess Three years of experience Manage all aspects of emergency and restoration claims (sketching, scoping, estimating, communication with customer and insurance) Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for mitigation projects using Xactimate and Symbility software Understanding of construction principles preferred Communicate and document estimate revisions and supplements IICRC Certifications preferred Xactimate Certifications Insurance Adjusting Experience a strong plus Ability to meet crucial deadlines Effective, professional communication skills Valid Driver's License & insurable driving record Must pass and maintain a satisfactory background screening and pre-employment drug screening Responsibilities
Preparation of job estimates for property damage, residential and commercial, including Fire, Water, and Mold Damage Use of Xactimate and Symbility to write estimates accurately and in a timely manner to submit to Claims Coordinator in order to meet insurance and TPA guidelines Assist with the growth of the organization Deliver and Communicate estimate to Operations Manager About Us
