Day in the Life:

The Community Pharmacist is responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients and customers of the medical center. This position is located in Boise, Idaho at the Boise Medical Center with variable hours.

What to Expect:

Serve as functional lead for pharmacy services of specialty practice area based on interest, experience and assignment.

May service as Pharmacist-in-Charge at location if a Director is unable.

Function as an online pharmacist as scheduled.

Works collaboratively within organization structures to improve medication use outcomes

Mentor and train staff.

Precept students and residents for learning experiences.

Design and implement pharmacy operational processes for practice area.

Coordinate practice activities under the direction of overall departmental leadership

May serve as an evaluator of staff within team.

If specialty certification is available obtain board certification from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties within 2 years.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree from an accredited pharmacy program

Experience: 0 years' experience

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Pharmacist License in state of practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
