Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineerwill work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment and will be responsible for designing building electrical systems and producing construction documentation for commercial projects, higher education, state and local government projects, multi-family housing projects and healthcare projects. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm.

In this role, you will: Design medium and low voltage systems including distribution, lighting, power, and fire alarm. Develop electrical and lighting system calculations and controls. Prepare detailed design documents using Revit. Perform QA/QC reviews and ensure code compliance. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, clients, and regulatory officials. Guide junior engineers and conduct site investigations. Review shop drawings and support construction services. You will be a great fit if:

You have a minimum of 10 years design experience as a designer or registered engineer. You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. You have experience with electrical systems and projects. LEED experience or certification is a plus. You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines. Skills/Abilities:

Proficient working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and NFPA. Proficient working knowledge of Building Codes. Excellent work ethic and attitude. Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work. Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team. Proficient in AutoCad, Revit and MS Office. Location : Richmond, VA #LI-Onsite
