Overview
We are seeking a Database Administrator with strong data modeling expertise to support a long-term modernization initiative. This role combines hands-on modeling with ERwin and production database administration, working across Oracle and SQL Server environments.
What You'll Do
Create and update logical and physical data models using ERwin.
Perform reverse and forward engineering of database structures.
Develop and maintain model repositories and version control.
Document metadata, data dictionaries, and modeling standards.
Identify and resolve data integrity and duplication issues.
Support data governance and compliance initiatives.
Provide database administration support for Oracle and SQL Server, including upgrades, security updates, and backup/recovery activities.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DBAs, and business analysts to ensure database design supports scalability, integrity, and performance.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of professional data modeling with ERwin or a similar tool.
Strong experience with Oracle 19c and/or SQL Server 2019/2022.
Ability to deliver clear documentation and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
SQL Server DBA certification.
Experience with Oracle backup/recovery tools (e.g., DD Boost).
Familiarity with Oracle Grid Control and ASM.
Oracle certifications (Associate level or above).
