Summary Research and select vendors to solicit quotes and is responsible for the procurement of a medium scope, quantity, and dollar value of parts, including circuit card assemblies and build-to-print assemblies Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Discuss cost, delivery and vendor capability information with internal customers for CAE's product

Researches and identifies potential vendors

Negotiates price, terms and purchase orders

Administers and maintains purchase orders

Established and maintains good vendor relationships and satisfies internal customers

Discusses invoicing discrepancies with vendor and internal departments

Renews expired contract with vendors

Experience with file documentation that is fully compliant with all required elements to maintain a successful Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR)

Resolved problems related to poor quality, order inconsistencies, and damaged products in collaboration with Quality

Qualifications and Education Requirements High School diploma required

BA or BS in Business, Finance, Operation Management, or related field preferred

Three to Five years of related experience

Experience with FAR Part 15 cost/price analysis of proposal from suppliers

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Detail Oriented

Dependable

Be able to communicate in English fluently with excellent verbal and written skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Preferred Skills Experience in Federal Contractig

Strong written communication skills

Negotiation skills

Experience with conducting price analysis of proposals from suppliers

Ability to manage time and occasionally conflicting priorities

Deltek Costpoint ERP experience

Security Responsibilities Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
