Senior Network Systems Engineer

Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Network Systems Engineer to lead mission-critical projects in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing intricate network infrastructures. An active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is a must. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and optimize robust network architectures for enterprise and classified settings. Provide leadership in system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery efforts. Ensure adherence to critical security standards and protocols (DISA STIGs, RMF). Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver high-availability solutions effectively. Automate system administration tasks through scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for improved efficiency. Oversee Active Directory management, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and network monitoring tools. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and specialist certifications considered in lieu of degree. At least 8 years of systems engineering experience with a focus on network systems. Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization, and network security. Possession of certifications like CompTIA Security+, VMware, or equivalent credentials. Preferred Skills: Experience working in DoD or Intelligence Community environments. Solid foundation in system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance methodologies. Exceptional communication abilities and technical documentation skills.
