Looking for veterans to volunteer in the Phoenix area

We are looking for veteran volunteers to visit with Hospice patients to provide caring support for the patient. We have found that veterans can relate to other veterans on a level others cannot do. Location: We try to match you to someone who lives close to you. But, you will train in person at our Mesa location. As a volunteer, you may play games (cards, chess, bingo), you may read to the patient, or provide listening and companionship for an hour or two a week.
