The Help Me Grow Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of the Help Me Grow (HMG) program, a centralized access point system supporting healthy development and early learning. The Program Coordinator will oversee intake services, resource and referrals, and care coordination for children 0-5 years of age, their families, and early childhood providers. This position supports CAPSLO's mission by helping families raise healthy children that are equipped for success in school and life.

Qualifications : Minimum of Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of experience in a highly responsible administrative or management position in the social services or non-profit environment, which includes program planning, organizing and administration. Demonstrated knowledge of Early child development, Early childhood mental health, Best practices in family-centered care and family engagement. Experience in Early intervention or family support program for young children, Use of developmental screening tools with young children, Programmatic analysis and report preparation. As a Help Me Grow Program Coordinator you will :

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with CAPSLO policies and all applicable regulations. Connect children and families to appropriate resources in San Luis Obispo County when concerns arise around development, behavior, or learning. Ensure HMG programs deliver high-quality care and support for families and early childhood providers serving children ages 0-5. Oversee accurate recordkeeping and program monitoring to meet contract outcomes. Educate families and providers on the importance of routine developmental screenings for children ages 0-5. Supervise the HMG Child Development Specialist and support staff in maintaining a comprehensive referral database. Develop protocols and procedures to ensure effective and consistent service delivery. Facilitate communication and collaboration among system partners. Coordinate the operation of the HMG Centralized Access system. Design and distribute outreach materials through websites, text messaging, social media, and community events. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, service providers, educational institutions, and other stakeholders. Organize and lead meetings with the CAPSLO HMG team, medical providers, regional center staff, schools, and specialists. Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements. Provide backup support by managing online and phone inquiries, entering data, and conducting screenings as needed. Network within and outside the agency to expand knowledge of resources and promote CAPSLO programs. Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of staff, clients, and children. Perform other duties as assigned.
