Job Description
A member of the University of Oklahoma Health Campus (OUHC) Student Affairs team, the Student Life Sr. Student Program Coordinator is a critical cornerstone to the enhancing and empowerment of successful student experiences. Responsible for the creation, planning and execution of Registered Student Organizations, including Multicultural Student Services programs, and Student Affairs special recognition events (such as Campus Awards), the Sr. Coordinator will inspire, encourage, and recognize student life and campus involvement for students at OU Health Campus. The coordinator will be dedicated to cultivating spaces and enrichment activities that facilitate opportunities for student life connection, cultural awareness and understanding, and recognition of accomplishments within a student's path to professional and health career development.
Duties: Registered Student Organizations. Serves as the point of contact within Student Affairs for all Registered Student Organizations on campus. Oversees the annual registration, funding, and licensing approval processes for RSOs. Provides regular training for faculty/staff RSO advisers. Student Group Advisement. Serves as a committed adviser for Multicultural Student Organizations (MSO): Black Student Association, Native American Student Association, Asian American Professional Student Association, Hispanic American Student Association, International Student Organization, Muslim Health Professional Association, LUMINA, Oklahoma City Chinese Scholars Student Association, and Veteran & Military Alliance. Guides groups on budgets, programming, organizational meetings, and event planning across groups as well as campus. Serves as a resource of information and direction for organizations. Program Management & Coordination. Creates and manages programs, activities, and celebrations for all students, supports and assists HC Student Government Association initiatives, and University Village Apartment activities and programs (as needed). Develops and maintains program outcomes for cultural, recognition, and involvement programming. Program Representation. Serves as a resource for the Health Campus community in regards to the Student Affairs mission. Works with the Office of Access & Opportunity, Student Life (Norman), as well as OU-Tulsa Student Affairs on programs and initiatives. Collaborates with OU Health Campus college-based offices committed to belonging, Registered Student Organizations, and student recognition ceremonies. Ceremony Facilitation. Oversees and coordinates the annual OU Health Campus Awards Ceremony and University graduation celebrations, such as MSO End of Year Celebration and the Collective Leadership Ceremony. Duties include but are not limited to application generation, event management, communication with campus partners, and product orders. Collaborates with internal and external team members regarding various student recruitment initiatives and retention programs Activity Facilitation. Facilitates large scale campus-wide events and activities including but not limited to Black Student Association Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, Global Friendsgiving, and Veterans Day Celebration. Collaborates with multiple campus teams to support Green Zone Training and LGBTQ Ally Workshops. Program Development. Develops, creates new opportunities and generates new ideas for the programs to enhance student life and identify Health Campus cultural learning opportunities. Develop and implement student learning centered educational initiatives and content to promote belonging and engagement. Maintains effective internal and external processes for all Registered Student Organizations, including assessment of programs. Works with OUHC Recruitment & Admissions to maintain current student lists and will maintain student database of officers and advisors as well as organization bylaws. As Needed. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position. Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree,
AND:
48 months of related experience. Equivalent/Substitution:
Will accept 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines Able to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports Able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations Organization Leadership Cultural Competence Microsoft Office Certifications:
