We are currently seeking a skilled
Prosthodontic Dental Assistant
to join our growing practice. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a prosthodontist and be part of life-changing dental transformations.
What You'll Do:
Assist the prosthodontist during procedures, including full-mouth rehabilitations, implant placements, and crown and bridge work. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use. Take and pour impressions, fabricate temporary crowns, and assist in the placement of restorations. Capture high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images as needed. Educate patients on post-operative care and provide instructions for maintaining their prosthetics. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using our practice management software. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth workflows and exceptional patient experiences. Who We're Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum of
2 years of dental assisting experience , with at least
1 year in prosthodontics or a related specialty
preferred. Skills:
Proficiency in taking impressions, fabricating temporaries, and assisting with complex dental procedures. Certifications:
Active Dental Assistant License and X-ray certification required; Nitrous Oxide certification is a plus. Personality:
A compassionate, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and organizational skills. Tech-Savvy:
Experience with digital dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental) and imaging systems is highly preferred. Passion:
A genuine enthusiasm for prosthodontics and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
