Our client is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust Azure-based infrastructure and services. In this role, you'll partner with development, security, and operations teams to ensure our cloud environment is secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components. Automate environment provisioning using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar tools. Monitor and optimize system performance through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Apply and maintain security best practices, including RBAC, NSGs, and Azure Policy enforcement. Support hybrid environments and integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure cloud services. Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed Azure resources into CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Track usage, manage budgets, and optimize spend via Azure Cost Management. Document cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes. Keep pace with Azure advancements and recommend enhancements to existing systems and practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field - or equivalent hands-on experience. Minimum of 3 years in cloud engineering or IT infrastructure with a primary focus on Azure. Proficiency with Azure core services, including VMs, Storage, Networking, and Entra ID Hybrid. Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform. Solid understanding of Azure networking, identity, and security fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft certifications such as: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) Knowledge of Azure Application Gateway, Firewall, Load Balancing, AKS, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps. Familiarity with Azure Arc, Azure Stack, and other hybrid cloud tools. Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

Compensation: $75-85/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
