Controls Engineer/Ignition

Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to program and support customized control systems for industrial and commercial refrigeration systems. This role involves PLC programming, developing HMI/SCADA graphics (including Ignition SCADA, Wonderware, and RSView), and delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements. You will troubleshoot, problem-solve, and serve as a key point of contact for training team members and customers, providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Program and configure PLCs and HMIs for refrigeration control systems Design and develop custom user interface graphics using Ignition SCADA, Wonderware, and RSView Troubleshoot control systems, identify root causes, and implement solutions Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful project delivery Train internal teams and customers on system operation and functionality Provide ongoing technical support for assigned projects What You'll Need
Minimum 2+ years of controls engineering or PLC programming experience Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical Strong understanding of PLC programming logic, communications, and networking Experience with HMI/SCADA development (Ignition preferred) Familiarity with industrial power systems, including 3-phase power and electrical circuits Who You Are
