The Marketing Intelligence Analyst will be part of the Strategy & Planning department, supporting executive and operational leadership’s vision and strategy through a robust and thoughtful approach to market intelligence and strategic corporate projects. Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following
(other duties may be assigned): Assist with the implementation and project management of special projects that support the strategic priorities of the Strategy & Planning team and Executive Team. Create and implement stream-lined, data-driven processes and procedures for the Strategy Department. Bring creative, solution-driven, and objective thinking to ensure a consistent approach to our operational and department efforts. Assist the strategy team with annual and long-range planning efforts. Manage special projects related to brand growth, market expansion, and competitive intelligence. Contribute to high-visibility initiatives by integrating cross-regional insights and strategy frameworks. Conduct and synthesize internal and external research to inform strategic decisions across Brasfield & Gorrie’s business units. Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to identify trends, risks, and emerging opportunities in the market. Develop insight-driven reporting tools to enhance leadership’s visibility and decision-making. Provide both qualitative and quantitative research for company-wide initiatives, including the long-range plan and annual planning process as well as sector-specific business needs. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to uncover trends, threats, and competitive positioning, with a focus on specific sectors and geographic markets. Research, profile, and evaluate market sectors for growth opportunities in collaboration with sector and operational leadership. Collect, interpret, and communicate data related to current market conditions and emerging trends. Monitor economic and industry trends to identify potential business opportunities. Assist with all sector or operational reports and presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations. Manage internal proprietary data tools and utilize online platforms to enhance analysis. Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Construction, Engineering, or a related field 6–10 years of experience in corporate strategy, market research or analysis, ideally within the construction or related industries; global marketing and analytics experience a strong plus Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams Self-motivated and collaborative; thrives in a team-oriented environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and create insight-driven strategies Proficiency in third-party market research platforms Clear and compelling communication skills, both written and verbal Skilled at formatting and presenting data in a concise, visually engaging format Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva
