Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical (Combustion Systems) Location:

Monaca, PA Sign-On Bonus:

$3,000 ($1,500 at start + $1,500 after 6 months)

What You’ll Do You’ll be the go-to problem solver for diagnosing, testing, maintaining, and repairing advanced electrical, electronic, and combustion systems that keep our operations moving. You’ll work hands-on with:

Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and components

AC/DC motor drives and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Combustion systems and process control equipment

Indicating, recording, and telemetering instruments

Computer systems, peripherals, and communications equipment

From troubleshooting faults with oscilloscopes and voltmeters to calibrating precision instruments and upgrading PLC programs, you’ll keep equipment operating at peak performance.

Essential Functions

Diagnose, test, and repair electrical/electronic systems, including AC/DC drives, PLCs, communications, and combustion systems

Troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, ammeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools

Replace defective components, wiring, and adjust mechanical parts as needed

Calibrate instruments and maintain repair records

Use computers for diagnostics, PLC upgrades, and schematic modifications

Install and maintain process control equipment measuring variables like pressure, flow, and temperature

Lead or assist maintenance crews and train others when needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school

Proven industrial maintenance experience with emphasis on electrical and combustion systems

Proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC drives, PLCs, and control systems

Skilled in using diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and signal generators

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work in an industrial environment and respond to equipment emergencies
