About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for an Executive Director of Quantitative Analytics and Risk Oversight. Join us in shaping the future of banking as we aim to become a fully digital institution that prioritizes customer needs. In this critical position, you will provide second-line oversight of key financial risks, including credit, market, liquidity, and model risk. You'll manage the complete CECL allowance process and play a major role in credit forecasting, stress testing, and CCAR preparations. We seek a candidate with a robust background in credit risk management and CECL reserving, particularly in fast-evolving economic environments. This hands-on leader should possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage a small team, and the confidence to engage with senior management including the CEO and Board of Directors.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, with an advanced degree or professional certification being advantageous. A CFA or FRM certification is a plus. You should embody over 12 years of experience predominantly focused on credit risk management and financial forecasting. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are imperative, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. A proven track record in team leadership, in-depth knowledge of financial and regulatory landscapes, and a commitment to integrity in risk management are essential. Experience in CCAR and familiarity with commercial and retail banking lending products, including risk modeling and data analysis, will make you a strong fit for this role.
