Position: Mission Lead GEOINT
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI poly
Job Description: Mission Essential is seeking a highly skilled Mission Lead with demonstrated leadership ability and deep expertise in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) to serve as the on-site liaison between Government leadership and the contract workforce. This role is operationally focused and designed for a results-driven leader who thrives in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as the local liaison between the Government Lead and the assigned contractor workforce within the designated organization. Provide full-spectrum analysis and production (A&P) support, including:
Geospatial analysis Quality control (QC) Product release and dissemination
Support operational and administrative functions, including:
Shift scheduling Mission management duties Other taskings related to operational support, as directed by the Government Lead
Serve as the first-line supervisor for the assigned contract personnel:
Ensure compliance with mission requirements and labor category (LCAT) specifications outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Monitor performance and provide performance-based counseling Identify and escalate workforce or mission concerns to the Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager
Maintain a strong operational presence, with 90% of work hours dedicated to supporting mission requirements Minimum Education
Must meet one of the following criteria: MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 6 years CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience; OR BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND at least 10 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 8 years of CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience; OR HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience to include 10 years of CURRENT GEOINT Analysis experience Minimum Qualifications: Excellent written & oral communication, research, and analytic skills Expert ability to manage personnel, requirements, and coordination of projects Expert capabilities to research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings, multimedia presentations, and written reports Extensive experience supporting decision making and special projects on integration issues, including the preparation, production, and coordination of written products and briefings for senior stakeholders Experience with assessments, enterprise data integration, governance, and metrics, including the application of metadata management techniques and data modeling and design Expert knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence collection, fusion, analysis, production, and dissemination for intelligence databases and products Experience with tradecraft and publication and ability to coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, and independently produce written reports Extensive experience inGeospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)analysis and production Proven leadership and supervisory experience in an operational GEOINT environment Strong knowledge of GEOINT tools, techniques, and production workflows Active TS/SCI clearance required and must be able to obtain CI poly
