What You'll Own
As the site's go-to authority on quality systems and regulatory compliance, you'll:
Champion a culture of quality and food safety across all departments
Serve as the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and manage the Food Safety Plan
Oversee the Food Safety & Quality Management System (FSQMS) including SOPs, training, and document control
Lead GMP, HACCP, and Food Defense training programs
Manage sanitation validation, internal inspections, and environmental monitoring
Ensure traceability and recall readiness across the supply chain
Approve production batch records and manage nonconformities, deviations, and CAPAs
Investigate quality issues and customer complaints with precision and urgency
Oversee QA activities in the warehouse: receiving, sampling, repacking, and storage
Ensure FSVP compliance and supplier quality management
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of progressive QA experience in food, dietary supplements, or ingredient manufacturing
Deep knowledge of FDA regulations (21 CFR 117 and 111)
PCQI certification and hands-on experience with product release and production record review
Expertise in supplier quality, co-manufacturer oversight, and regulatory audits
