We are seeking a
Collaboration Solution Architect
to lead the design and implementation of integrated solutions across
Microsoft 365
,
Azure
, and
AWS
platforms. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and delivering solutions that enhance
data governance
and
business productivity
through scalable, compliant, secure and efficient cloud architectures.
This position is located in
Arlington, VA
offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday in office and the option to work from home Friday.
Responsibilities
Solution Team Leadership
Coordinate agile project teams and stakeholders.
Lead teams in implementing cloud-based solutions integrating M365, Azure, AWS and other services.
Solution Analysis and Design
Gather and analyze requirements
Translate business and technical requirements into actionable solution designs, estimating level of effort and resource needs while developing a high-level implementation plan and timeline to guide successful delivery.
Ensure solution design is compliant with established governance frameworks, internal standards and external regulations (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR)
Solution Delivery and Lifecycle
Project construction, including development and/or configuration of cloud services
Defining/coordinating tasks for delivery team and other technical stakeholders
Align solution documentation with governance framework.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college
8+ years of experience within IT, specifically with M365, Atlassian, and/or other enterprise level collaboration technologies
Excellent communication/consultation skills.
Ability to engage and align key stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and senior management, to ensure solution strategies reflect organizational priorities and gain cross-functional support throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to gather requirements and design/develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Expertise in constructing solutions in Microsoft 365 and Azure
Functions and Runbooks
Web Applications
Logic Apps/low code automation
Identity/Application management
M365 enhancement and custom solution development using code and low/no-code including
Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Azure Functions).
SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
M365 connectors
CoPilot for M365
SharePoint Lists
Ability to identify and organize a solution team and lead development efforts using Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
A track record of commitment to prior employers
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
