Job Description:

The Clinical Manager for Telehealth is responsible for providing management and daily oversight of clinical delivery, patient safety, and quality assurance for all clinicians, physicians, hospitals, and other caregivers within telehealth services. This role works to improve the provider, patient, and affiliated personnel experience with telehealth services. They partner with the Director of Telehealth Clinical Hospital Based Services and is accountable for the monitoring and improvement of patient care by creating advanced systems of clinical practice, education, consultation, and collaboration for the service.

Location: Hybrid role with required travel and in house training at the Valley Center Tower.

LCSW licensure required

Essential Functions

Collaborates with Operations Manager, Outreach and Medical Director to plan, develop, and implement new services (i.e. metrics, dashboards and monthly reports on performance of all services).

Develops evidence-based protocols. Assesses individual facility abilities and assists each facility to modify their abilities to meet minimum telehealth services standard protocols.

Updates and streamline current curriculum and designs new content as needed to support on-site training/education of Telehealth services.

Provides direction in tracking and implementing new learning items and communicating in a positive, professional manner with end-users including physicians, nurses, technicians, transfer center, and associated personnel. Develops regular communication plan for use with each facility after go-live.

Provides leadership and management of all aspects of telehealth services.

Builds relationships and increase interactions with proposed and active providers and facilities.

Provides daily oversight of clinical delivery, patient safety and quality assurance for all clinicians, physicians, hospitals, and other caregivers in the telehealth service.

Provides direct oversight accountability for physician relationships and nurse scheduling, and supervisory responsibility for all launch and implementation staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW) in the state of practice.

Master's degree, as required by licensure.

Demonstrated clinical experience in area of practice

Experience and demonstrated competence in solving problems and liaising between multiple stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Four years relevant experience in a clinical role

Master's degree and five years clinical experience including two years in an acute hospital setting.

Supervisory experience

Experience in quality improvement and data analysis

Physical Requirements:

Physical Requirements

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess patient needs.

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, etc.
