Role Overview: The Senior I&C Engineer will lead the design and implementation of instrumentation and controls systems for water and wastewater projects. This position involves managing complex projects, providing technical direction, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage I&C design for large, complex projects, including SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems. Prepare and revise engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients. Develop project scope, budgets, and schedules. Perform field reviews, participate in commissioning, and oversee QA/QC processes. Mentor and develop junior engineering staff. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred). 15+ years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Control Systems or Electrical Engineering (or ability to obtain within 18 months). Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel, including occasional international travel.
