This is a full time, salaried position with night shifts, 6pm-2:30am, at the histology lab on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

The Scripps Health Histology Lab services all our Scripps Health locations. Located on the 4 th floor of the Poole building, the lab features stunning views of La Jolla, state-of-the-art equipment and digital pathology workflows.
The responsibilities of the Histology Supervisor include:
Responsible for oversight of the activities and functions of the Histology department. Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership. Assists in the laboratory and provides troubleshooting assistance when needed. Ensures effective use of system resources. Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities. Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule. Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff. May cover bench as needed. #LI-EE1
Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
4 years of histology laboratory experience Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
QIHC(ASCP). Bachelor's degree HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP)
