Job Summary:
As a Buyer I, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for the organization while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet the company’s procurement needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review purchase requisitions and determine appropriate procurement methods.
• Identify potential suppliers and solicit bids or quotations.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate terms and pricing.
• Generate purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and track order status, expediting deliveries as needed.
• Resolve issues with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Maintain supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with contract management principles.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
Certifications:
• CSCP, CPSM (preferred).

APICS Certified Supply Chain Certification , Certified Professional in Supply Management
