Job Summary:

Responsible for Quality assurance procedures and programs for the Nederman MikroPul, Pneumafil, LCI product lines and operations. Support Project Management primarily through shop inspections and startups but also other areas as required. Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of company product lines. Primary technical interface with manufacturing partners and machine shops.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain a Quality System Management program compliant with the ISO 9001 standard. Develop and maintain a quality manual. Train company personnel on quality procedures and monitor conformance to said procedures. Manage/resolve non-conformance and follow-up on corrective and preventative actions. Write technical bulletins, standards & procedures dealing with design and fabrication of company related equipment. Technical consultant to company personnel, customers, engineering and manufacturing associates in all areas relating to quality aspects of company equipment. Primary technical interface with manufacturing partners and machine shops. Make every effort to identify and implement manufacturing and design improvements. Responsible for shop and field inspections of company equipment to insure conformance to company and customer specifications. This includes visits to manufacturing partners, fab & machine shops and customer facilities for new and repaired equipment. Some domestic & international travel required. In cooperation with Director of Engineering, locate, evaluate, and approve fabrication and machine shops as qualified Supply Partners for company proprietary equipment. Work with company supply partner's shop personnel to provide products in line with company quality standards. Assist with selection and contracting of global exclusive supply partners. All other duties that may be necessary from time to time outside the normal scope of your job description that will contribute toward the Company meeting it's goals and objectives Qualifications Your Experience & Education

BSME or BSCHE or Material Science & Engineering. Plus other specialized schooling in welding engineering or material science. 5 years to 10 years in a manufacturing environment, and preferred in quality assurance/quality control dealing with welding and metal fabrication. Experience with pressure vessel environment preferred. Knowledge of special alloy materials Ability to read & interpret customer specifications NACE - Certified Coating Inspector (preferred) ASME associated with pressure vessels (2 years working knowledge) CMQ/OE - Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (preferred) AWS - CWI - Certified Welding Inspector (preferred) Familiarity with ISO, ASME, ANSI, AWS, ASTM, PED, NFPA and other standard quality assurance programs, AutoCAD, Project Management, Pipe/Vessel Fabrication, Accounting Practices. Must be willing to travel. Some domestic & International travel required.(25%-30%). Your Skills & Traits:
