Your responsibilities will include:
Utilizing data for targeted recruitment and executing the annual recruitment plan.
Engaging prospective parents for referrals and establishing the Necco brand as a leader in foster care by raising community awareness at events.
Building and nurturing relationships with foster parents, local businesses, media outlets, churches, and community organizations.
Working collaboratively with staff and community influencers to develop ongoing recruitment strategies.
Ensuring timely follow-up communication with prospective foster parents through various channels.
You will also lead the certification process required by state licensing, which includes:
Providing initial training and conducting the home study process for foster families.
Maintaining current knowledge of state regulations regarding foster homes.
Assessing families for their suitability to foster during training and home study.
Delivering foster parent training classes as mandated by state requirements.
Additionally, you will:
Participate in the admissions process from youth referral to first placements.
Manage all facets of initial training for foster parents.
Provide rotational on-call support and advisory services to foster families.
Embark on a continuous journey of feedback and improvement while embodying the core values of Necco.
Qualifications required for this position include:
Minimum age of 21 years.
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service-related field.
At least 2 years of experience in the human services field.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage.
Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Successful completion of all required background checks.
