The Solutions Architect - Digital Pathology is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory, executing product demonstrations for clients, and clearly communicating complex and technical product information as well as technical IT and networking information to a variety of customer stakeholders.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager, is part of the Pathology Imaging Sales team, and will be a field-based role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Serve as technical expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and related software products.

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for all pre- and post-sales activities, such as customer appointments, trade shows and customer training.

Customer call activity will be a balance of existing customers accounts to expand our current base, meeting with active opportunities and prospecting for new opportunities in the assigned geography

Coordinate sales activities within national, multi-site, laboratory accounts by interacting with other departments in the organization to ensure the proper handling of customer requirements, completing documentation of Solution Design with the key stakeholders to facilitate fast implementation of client orders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (IT or Scientific field preferred) OR equivalent work experience. Diagnostics, Life Science and/or Pathology preferred.

Prior capital sales experience preferred

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel 50-75% within territory

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 15 lbs, any other physical requirements

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position will require travel by car and flying in and out of airports with possible long wait times

The annual salary range for this role is $118,000 - $130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
