Job Title: Maintenance Technician $26/HR
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician must be adept at reading and understanding prints, sketches, and instruction manuals. The role involves executing work assignments based on verbal instructions and requires maintaining and operating plant facilities, associated buildings, and equipment. The technician will fabricate, build, or modify production and production aid equipment or facilities, working with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and operation tasks for plant and facility equipment.
Fabricate, build, or modify production and production aid equipment.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Repair, tear down, install, or relocate mechanical or electrical facilities.
Identify and list parts needed for tool and equipment repair.
Observe all safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Perform additional duties as required based on abilities.
Essential Skills
At least 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or military mechanic.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Valid driver's license and eligibility for a passport.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
High school diploma or GED.
Ownership of basic hand tools (e.g., pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers).
Experience with measuring tools including multimeters, oscilloscopes, or volt meters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Military experience is a plus.
Experience with HVAC systems is advantageous.
Skills in welding and brazing are beneficial.

The position is a direct placement with a pay rate starting at $26 per hour, with additional compensation for overtime. The shift typically runs from 7 am to 3:30 pm, occasionally extending to 6 am to 4:30 pm, working 50-55 hours per week. Travel may be required, with compensation for travel time. The technician will receive a company phone, laptop, credit card, uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE). The work environment is a large, busy industrial manufacturing floor with a focus on machine building. It is a fast-paced setting with a significant volume of work.
