The Role
We are looking for a
part-time Medical Assistant
who is passionate about making a difference. As part of our mobile care team, you'll provide hands-on support to dermatology providers, assist during procedures, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience.
This is more than a typical MA role, it's an opportunity to work in an innovative practice, travel with our mobile clinics, and be part of a mission-driven team fighting skin cancer and improving lives.
What You'll Do Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine) Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care Support providers during additional testing and procedures Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations What We're Looking For
Certified/experienced Medical Assistant (Surgical or Dermatology background preferred) Knowledge of Mohs procedures a plus Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred
