Description

Do you have a background in insurance or specifically claims adjusting? Do you like managing your own work pace? Do you like a variety in your work life? You may be just the person we are looking for! We are seeking experienced insurance adjusters to join our team!

This role is responsible for the inspection and investigation of property damage losses of active insurance claims. This process includes appointments with policy holders to gather photographs, measurements and interviewing applicable parties to confirm the cause of loss. This role is also responsible for completing an estimate of repairs for the claim. This role works with multiple parties to resolve insurance claims between the insured and insurance company.

Responsibilities:

Determine the scope and value of loss of a claim. Conduct field inspections and investigations of claims Work in partnership with policy holders, contractors, public adjusters, lawyers, and insurance company Determine and communicate coverage and payment recommendations to insurance company. Research and determine the cost of a project (labor, material, time, etc.) including completing an estimate of repairs. Report claim status to insurance company in a timely manner. Additional duties as assigned. Who are we?

At least three years' related experience required (insurance estimating, construction repair replacement knowledge, project management, etc.) Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Proficient interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Xactimate Software experience preferred. Local travel required (MA) Valid Driver's License required
