Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
to join our
outpatient Family Medicine team
at an
FQHC clinic near Millinocket, Maine . This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by serving the underserved while working in a collaborative and supportive primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions. Promote health and wellness through patient education, preventive care, and screenings. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system. Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives. Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Maine (or eligibility for licensure). Family Practice certification or relevant clinical experience required. Experience in community health, primary care, or working with underserved populations preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Commitment to mission-driven, patient-centered care. Compensation & Benefits:
