Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time Telephone Triage Nurse (RN or LPN) for our Hazelwood Florissant Internal Medicine office!

Summary: The Telephone Triage Nurse answers the phones, triages all calls, makes clinical decisions based on protocols, and communicates with the Physicians and Nurse Practitioners.

Nurses who have previous telephone triage experience, including using an Electronic Medical Record, will be given primary consideration.

Preferred Qualifications: Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited RN or LPN school of nursing. One or more years of experience, current nursing license in MO, dedication to patient satisfaction, ability to communicate effectively and ability to work compatibly with physicians and other staff members.

Physical Requirements: Physical guidelines include ability to sit for extended periods of time while assisting patients via telephone. Ability to teach and assist patients and document through the EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and staff.
