(Highly Desired) Certifications: BLS and ACLS Clinical Duties
Performs a nursing
assessment
on all patients
within 8 hours of admission . Develops an
individualized plan of care
and identifies teaching needs. Provides patient information and status for Initial and weekly Re-evaluation
Team Conferences . Responsible for
accurate, succinct, and timely documentation . Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) with a priority on
patient/family education . Initiates discharge planning
from the day of admission. Communicates all
pertinent changes
