Key Responsibilities:
Identify Improvement Opportunities:
Analyze our business processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement using Lean Manufacturing and 8D problem-solving methodologies. Problem Solving:
Employ and coach disciplined problem-solving techniques, following 8D and 5 Why styles. Conduct Training:
Provide valuable training and support to team members on problem-solving methods, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor Performance:
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of process improvements, unveiling further optimization opportunities. Lead Projects:
Facilitate cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely execution and achieving expected outcomes. Documentation:
Maintain thorough documentation of processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to support ongoing improvement efforts. Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and resolve manufacturing challenges. Conduct Kaizens:
Execute Kaizen events designed to improve operational efficiency across projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in manufacturing with a robust understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and devise effective solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead teams and collaborate effectively. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Minitab, Excel) for statistical process control and performance measurement. Leadership experience in facilitating process improvements and mentoring colleagues. Working Conditions: Office environment with PC use. Occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs). Standing/walking for up to 2 hours in a manufacturing setting. What We Offer: The typical salary for this position ranges from $72,980 to $94,915 annually, based on skills and experience.
