Marketing & Branding Intern

to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a

nationally recognized arts company

in the midst of a major expansion. Khunum is preparing for its first national tour of its newest production, HUMAN, with upcoming collaborations at T he Shed, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Sandglass Theater, Asheville Creative Arts, and The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center

as part of the

National Performance Network. We are at an exciting turning point - shifting from artist-focused projects to building the

company’s broader brand and public presence . The Marketing & Branding Intern will play a vital role in helping shape how Khunum Productions is seen and engaged with, both online and nationally. Responsibilities may include:

Developing a social media strategy and posting calendar (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, FB)

Designing creative campaigns around HUMAN and other company initiatives

Supporting press/media outreach and e-newsletters

Strengthening Khunum’s brand identity and visibility

Tracking analytics and experimenting with audience growth

Ideal Candidate:

Proactive, full of ideas, and energized

Comfortable with Canva, Adobe Suite, or other design/video editing tools

Strong writing and communication skills

Excited about arts, culture, and storytelling

Seeking portfolio-building opportunities in marketing, branding, and arts promotion

Details:

Unpaid internship

designed as a professional learning opportunity

Flexible schedule, 8-10 hours per week (remote with occasional in-person opportunities)

Interns will gain mentorship, behind-the-scenes access to professional touring productions, and portfolio-ready experience tied to high-profile collaborations with leading institutions

Position runs

Fall 2025 through Summer 2026, culminating in the NYC premiere of HUMAN at The Shed.

Option for a fall semester-only term is available.
