About the Role:
Babbel is hiring a
Brand Insights Associate
to help shape our understanding of brand performance and marketing impact. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Insights, the person in this position will play a high-impact, cross-functional role that shapes how Babbel identifies, understands, and connects with its audience, keeping brand strategy grounded in data and insight.
The Brand Insights team is dedicated to enabling improved decision-making through the systematic collection and analysis of data that measure our brand's performance and perception, including tracking brand awareness, sentiment, behavioral themes, behavioral motivational drivers, marketing performance and digital presence. From programming surveys to analyzing data and supporting brand strategy initiatives, you will ensure our brand insights initiatives run smoothly and deliver high-quality insights. You will also help codify best practices, streamline methodologies, and build efficiencies across our work.
This position requires being in the New York City office 3 days per week Tuesday - Thursday.
You will:
Consumer Understanding:
Support research on Babbel's target customers, including demographics, needs, motivations, pain points, attitudes, and behaviors. Build and maintain data-driven personas and translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders. Research Execution and Data Analysis : Conduct and support quantitative and qualitative studies, including brand health tracking, segmentation, creative testing, campaign measurement, and audience understanding. Program, test, and launch surveys in Qualtrics and other platforms, manage sample plans and fieldwork logistics, and validate and clean data. Perform analyses such as cross-tabs, weighting, and basic statistical testing, and synthesize results into clear reporting. Manage projects end to end, working with vendors as well as executing independently. Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Creative, and Content teams to ensure insights connect directly to brand strategy. Partner with the Senior Manager of Brand Insights Analytics to prioritize, keep projects on track and insights flowing. Competitive and Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activity, consumer trends, and public feedback across various channels. Storytelling and Delivery:
Distill research findings into simple, powerful narratives. Build concise deliverables that effectively communicate findings and drive stakeholder decision making. You are:

Experience across the full lifecycle of quantitative research, from study design through fielding, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with qualitative methods (focus groups, IDIs, diary studies) is a plus. Proficiency in Qualtrics (required) for survey programming, logic, and analysis. Strong analytical skills, including sampling, weighting, data cleaning, and foundational statistics. Proficient in Excel and SQL (required for data analysis and reporting) with familiarity in R and Python. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong documentation habits. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Behavioral Science, or a related field. Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for language learning and global brands. Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) or social listening and tracking tools (YouGov, Brandwatch, Meltwater) is a plus. Benefits

Salary Information:
In New York City, the reasonable annualized full-time salary for this role is
$70,000 - $80,000.

For all other locations, the reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is in line with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
