Our expected salary range for this position is $156,600 to $174,000, varying based on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Oversee and manage the engineering function to ensure accountability and performance in line with station needs and regulatory requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead the engineering function to meet station needs and comply with regulatory mandates.
Supervise and develop your engineering team, emphasizing high-quality results in alignment with corporate objectives.
Provide technical leadership on short and long-term programs that affect site operations.
Engage in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews concerning your staff.
Act as a senior resource on company-wide programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing engineering systems and processes.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management, including emergency response, departmental coverage, and support during outages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or a related science, or a Licensed Professional Engineer, or an Active/Inactive SRO License with a minimum of 5 years in engineering or a related field, including 1 year of nuclear power plant experience.
Comply with additional requirements as per ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, regarding the selection, qualification, and training of personnel for nuclear power plants.
Maintain access clearance or unescorted access as required and ensure satisfactory medical examination or testing appropriate for the role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer Registration.
Advanced technical degree, MBA.
Experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
Specialized experience in Electrical and/or I&C Engineering is highly desirable.
