Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I-Seismic (2nd Shift). The core hours are 2:00pm to 10:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is 19.82 per hour.

What you'll do: Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components. May use bolts, screws, clips and other fastening devices. Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams. Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner. Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise. Keeps work areas clean and safe. Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas. Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor. Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility. Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. Physical Demands:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs. with assistance. Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas). Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity. Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents Position Criteria: Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English. Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
