Hospice Pet Therapy Volunteers Needed

Residential Hospice is looking for volunteers with certified pet therapy dogs to visit our patients on Hospice care. Hospice pet therapy utilizes the natural bond between humans and animals to bring joy, humor love and companionship to those on the end-of-life-journey. Benefits for the Patients: The unconditional, non- judgmental love that pets provide. Reduced feelings of loneliness and anxiety. The encouragement to socialize. Having something to look forward to.
