Job Title: Material Handler/ Forklift Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the 1st shift from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves supporting and complying with all Safety, Health, Environment, Community, and Sustainability (SHECS) policies to maintain a safe working environment. This includes engaging in safety conversations, submitting hazard reports, and promptly reporting any incidents or issues to management. The position supports positive employee relations and fosters a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct safety conversations and submit hazard reports.
Report accidents, incidents, safety issues, errors, or other problems immediately to management.
Assist with incident investigations as necessary.
Identify and assist with continuous improvement and cost-control activities.
Support Lean Six Sigma program initiatives, including participating in Huddle Boards.
Work efficiently to provide cost-competitive service to customers.
Provide guidance, assistance, and training to co-workers and contingent workers.
Dismantle, separate, and process electronic devices, components, and materials according to customer specifications and operating procedures.
Properly use manual and power hand tools.
Essential Skills
Experience with material handling and general labor.
Proficiency with forklift operation.
Skills in inventory management, picking, packing, loading, and unloading.
Ability to support Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with production environments.
Ability to support positive employee relations.
Experience with continuous improvement and cost-control activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
