Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Working primarily Monday through Friday, you may also be called upon for after-hours emergencies. In this role, you will assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and more.
Responsibilities
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC.
Clean, lubricate, and service a variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and perform painting on walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations or implement savings opportunities.
Possess competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarm systems and fire pumps.
Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and directives related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and web-based applications.
Complete all required safety training annually.
Comply with uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Capability to work extended periods and shift work or stand-by on-call duties.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.32 - $26.75/hr.
