Job Description Job Opportunity: RN - CVOR - Operating Room/Surgery

Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Backfill Contract position in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at our facility. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality surgical care and applying specialized skills in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Information

Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Call Requirements: Yes (Rotating call/weekends) Target Start Date: Immediate Unit Information

Our unit features:

Location: Round Rock Medical Center Number of Operating Rooms: 11 Staffing: 40 on all shifts (includes Charge Nurses, RNs, Techs, and PCTs) Patient Ratios: 1:1 Type of Equipment: Includes advanced OR equipment such as Microscopes, Robotic Da Vinci Xi, Mako Robot, and Stealth system Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech Requirements

Must Have:

Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience Experience with ALL Adult open heart cases and OPEN/ENDOVASCULAR cases Familiarity with Cath lab cases such as TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) General surgery, orthopedic, and neuro surgery experience for both RN and Tech roles Preferred Skills:

Trauma experience for both RN and Tech roles Vascular surgery experience including fistula creations and endarterectomy surgery Typical Procedures Performed

X-lif and A-lif surgeries Decompression and ACDF Craniotomy and Robotic surgeries (thoracic, general, gyn, and urology) Orthopedic Trauma and total joint surgeries (Mako Robot) CV surgeries including CABG, valve procedures, and surgeries of the Aorta Ideal Candidate
