Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Member of the Technical Staff to lead the design and development of next-generation electronic hardware.
In this role, you will support advanced projects in processing, computing, and sensor/actuator technologies within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Projects typically span 12 to 18 months and include both sponsored contracts and internally funded R&D efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in collaboration, brings recent experience with COTS FPGAs, processors, or SoCs, and can immediately contribute to advanced PCB and digital electronic system designs. Requirements Security Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance (required) Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (5–15 considered) Strong proficiency in electronic circuit design, system architecture, and PCB design Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (DDR3/4, PCIe, Gigabit serial links) Knowledge of power integrity and conditioning circuitry for digital PCBs Familiarity with FPGA firmware (VHDL/Verilog) and microcontroller programming (C/C++) at a support level Proficiency with tools such as Siemens Designer/Layout, HyperLynx, ANSYS, SPICE, MATLAB Experience with miniature electronic packaging, bare die, and chip-scale packages Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage evolving requirements Benefits Full-time roles offering overtime and weekend work opportunities Competitive hourly wages plus potential quarterly bonuses Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance plans Life insurance coverage 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and holidays Opportunities for career growth and advancement Employee discount programs and perks
