/Building Maintenance Technician

toperform various maintenance and repair tasks.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

HVAC Technician

to join our facilities maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and other various maintenance and repair tasks across our buildings and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to diagnose and solve problems efficiently, and a commitment to safety and quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, refrigeration units, boilers, and ventilation systems. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and recommend repairs or upgrades. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Replace filters, belts, motors, fans, and other parts as needed. Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities staff to support overall building operations. Completes other daily assignments as directed by the Facilities Lead person, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and vehicle servicing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school certification or apprenticeship preferred

Minimum of [3+] years of hands-on HVAC experience

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and codes

Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and general building systems is a plus

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
