Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Part-Time Evening Painter
to join our team in Lynwood, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in aircraft painting, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Essential Functions
With or without reasonable accommodation, the employee must be able to perform the following: Inspect parts and determine required painting work Identify and apply the correct paint per job specifications and paperwork Mix paints according to provided instructions or technical data sheets Perform surface preparation, including light sanding, prior to painting Apply primer, epoxy, lacquer, resin, or topcoats to aluminum surfaces Paint a variety of surfaces and metals using proper techniques Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members Follow safety protocols, including wearing PPE during spray painting Replace contaminated paint booth filters as required Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and on time Perform other duties as assigned Competencies & Soft Skills

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in aircraft painting or related processing Other Requirements: Ability to wear all required PPE Good vision (near, color, depth, peripheral), hearing, sense of touch, and smell Work Environment
Shop environment with variable temperatures (below 30°F to over 100°F) Exposure to chemicals, paints, and solvents Physical demands include standing for long periods and lifting items as needed You're a reliable, safety-minded painter with experience in aerospace or industrial environments, we'd love to hear from you.
