ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Our advanced nuclear client is seeking a highly motivated individual that will focus on nuclear plant design engineering process development, oversight and maintenance. In this role, you will act as an Design Process Engineer for engineering, with a focus on design change control. The successful candidate will integrate and coordinate engineering processes and procedures with a broad team in multiple functional areas and work as part of a high-performing team of engineers and scientists.

Help to enforce and maintain common processes and standards for conduct of engineering activities, with focus on design change management and control. Provide coaching and assistance for engineering teams in implementation of procedures, forms, work guides, tools, and training material related to design control, configuration management, and other engineering processes. Identify, raise, and resolve inconsistencies and deficiencies between process/procedure and developed engineering deliverables. Support planning efforts and maintain schedule adherence for design and design change activities May include applying project and program management and coordination tools and techniques to daily work and regular meetings and engagements ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university and 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in design iteration and construction execution for integrated nuclear plant design, including work on complex systems and structures Understanding of design control tools and application on nuclear power projects, with industry experience in design change control, tracking, and implementation. Experience in a broad range of topics throughout a product lifecycle, including conceptual design, final design, construction, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning. Ability to work on tasks that require a multi-disciplinary approach. Experience with ANSI/NIRMA CM 1.0 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B control programs required. Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills. Attention to detail and aspiration for technical excellence. Candidate must be a self-starter and possess ability to perform both individually and as a team contributor.
