We have an outstanding career opportunity for anElectrical Design Engineer (PE)to join a leading Company located in theChattanooga, TNsurrounding area.
Responsibilities :
Communicate effectively with project team members and with clients
Prepar ation of drawings, calculations, sketches, and specifications
Complete short circuit studies, fault calculations, and other electrical st udies
Site field trips to existing facilities to gather operating data and equipment information
Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other software to perform engineering tasks and develop deliverables
Must possess organizational skills with emphasis on meeting customer deadlines
Must work well with a group, possess good communication, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment
Must have working knowledge of codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code
Self-motivated and self-managed to learn about technology and improve processes
Basic Hiring Criteria :
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Minimum 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience - primarily Commercial & Industrial Construction background
PE license required
Ability to obtain NCEES registration
Knowledge of NEC codes, electrical standards, AutoCAD/Revit/electrical design software
